During the academic 2015-2016, I have successfully completed three law subjects at the University of Cambridge as an ULC Exchange Student.

After being part of the Masterclass 2014 Mr. Z. at the law firm Pels Rijcken & Drooglever Fortuyn in The Hague, I did an internship at their law firm during the months July and August.

From september 2017 I will work as a Legal Assistent at the Walt Disney Company Benelux.

Trainer education curriculum ''My Lifestyle'' (vanaf 2006)
This educational package has been made in association with St. Art.1.
The ULC team Srius 1 (Paul Block, Dewi Bon Tamar Bastiaan) with an average grade of 8.96 won the first prize in the National Moot Court Marathon 2013.
The National Pleads Marathon 2013 took place at Maastricht and during this event justified all societies of advocates Netherlands their best lawyers
and judges out to win the cup.
Besides my aspirations for political, rights and argue I have made three CD albums in recent years.
My first album came out in 2007 on the market.
An album on which social issues such as racism, discrimination and bullying are key. It's about the search for myself and the problems in society.


The song "LifeStyle" formed the basis for the anti-bullying project "Live My Style" in conjunction with Article 1 of Rotterdam.
The album with 15 tracks was released independently and under the stage name Turboglad.

Workshops "My Lifestyle"  (2007 - 2014)
In 2007 I came in contact with Art.1. "Ned. Association against Discrimination"
The proceeds of my CD and the release party were donated to this organization. The money is then spent to develop a curriculum bases on my song "Life Style"
Since 2007 I give these interactive workshops in schools and work in several projects with various non-profit organizations, such as Splendor Neighborhoods, Art. 1, Kidzwise, UNICEF, CentiQ, the NJR, etc...
The National Pleads Marathon has become the largest and most important advocates championship of the Netherlands.
This curriculum is about prejudice, bullying and group formation.
The curriculum is further elaborated by me into an interactive workshop on the theme "Bullying and Rap music"

After ten years of radio silence, the duo Turboglad (Michel van Dijk & Tamar Bastiaan) is ready for a new start: 'Brainwavez'.

Currently the band 'Brainwavez' is busy completing their new CD 'A New Dawn'. The release of this album will be held on  11th in Ukien in Kampen and on 30th November at the Magdalene College in Cambridge (UK).

The style is characterized by a good mix of language and music, with Dutch rap mixing with English singing in the form of various genres (Rap, Funk, Rock and Reggae). They call this style 'Roots'
