Bullied and threatened, but dare go your own way. Tamar Bastiaan (15), aka rapper Turboglad, tells his story in the song 'Living Style'. The rapsong and the accompanying video are central to the curriculum 'Live My Style'.
My Live Style "shows students acquainted with the concepts of perception, prejudice and group formation. They move into what it's like to be bullied and think about what you can do against it. The curriculum is a collaboration between the young rapper and Art.1. On 21 October ash handing Turboglad and Art.1 the first copy of "Live My Style 'at primary school De Petra in' t Harde (near Zwolle). Turbo Smooth also provides a workshop and a concert for the children of the school.
Group formation and prejudices
Tamar got into trouble when he was in primary school to secondary school. Equivalent, is the motto of the Protestant school The Petra where the handing over takes place: "You can be who you are." On 21 October the double celebration at the school. In addition to the curriculum, the school also marked as '[ONE] Equal treatment for all' awarded.
